job_description.job_card.job_descriptionRohnert Park - Monday and Wednesday from 10 : 00am-2 : 00pm Santa Rosa - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 : 00am-2 : 00pm In the Employment Coach role, support someone with job development, including resume building, practice interviews, and learning new employability skills. Provide transportation assistance to and from work, and help access their community. Support maintaining employment and productivity; facilitate meaningful employment activities. Work with the individual to discover interests, skills, and employment goals. Collaborate with the circle of support to create a meaningful daily schedule. The Employment Coach executes directives from the Support Manager, Director of Services, CEO, and Board to meet service needs. Provide mentorship to ensure high-quality services focused on health, safety, and quality of life. Deliver job development and on-the-job supports guided by PBIS and Instructional Support Strategies. Assist in gathering information for Individualized Support Plans (ISP). Utilize Zoom, online learning platforms, and online job searching to support long-term goals. Maintain strong relationships with employers and volunteer sites. Two years of college or equivalent experience preferred but not required. Job development and on-the-job support experience preferred but not required. Experience supporting people with disabilities in community settings preferred. Strong organization, communication, and writing skills; proficient with computers and online platforms. Positive behavior support training experience preferred. Commitment to full inclusion and integrated employment for all persons with disabilities. Commitment to self-advocacy and person-centered planning. Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary. Eight-hour workday : sit, stand, and walk as specified. Frequent bending, stooping, climbing stairs, reaching, balancing, pushing, and driving. Occasional lifting 1-10 lbs, and related daily activities. Regular use of smartphones and company devices in accordance with policy. Office; community work settings; in-home supports; remote work; outdoors with varying weather conditions.
