Fair Administrative Assistant

Under the supervision of the Fair Manager, this position provides administrative and clerical support to coordinate and promote Fair Department activities. Must have the ability to multi-task while providing excellent customer service and complete all required duties timely in a fast paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications : High school diploma or GED, and a minimum of two years previous experience in a position that includes bookkeeping, typing, filing, use of phone, printer, copier and personal computer. Strong computer skills using Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Office Access, Publisher, Power Point and Internet Explorer. High concentration of work focused in Access & Excel.

Preferred Qualifications : Associate / Technical degree in secretarial, clerical, or administrative assistant, or minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service field or public environment. Leadership role in volunteer organization or event planning is beneficial. Experience with 4-H program or a Fair.

This position is a PT 14-35 hours per week position. Starting wage $19.13 $20.22 per hour (depending on qualifications)
