Central Health Unit Coordinator

Under the direction of the manager or designee supports the functions of the unit / area by performing receptionist and clerical duties.

Responsibilities include :

• Maintaining the medical record in good form.
• Communicating effectively using established systems / protocols.
• Communicating effectively with ancillary departments.
• Maintaining unit supplies / forms appropriately.
• Assuming responsibility for professional development of self and contributing to and assisting with the professional development of others.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Minimum requirements :

Physical demands :

Job requires sitting for prolonged periods, frequently bending / stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; attention to detail and ability to write legibly; ability to lift / push / pull.

Position compensation range : $14.20 - $28.40 hourly.
