Join Tesla in creating robust, beautiful, data-centric automated machines. As a Manufacturing Test & Equipment Engineering Technician, you will work alongside engineers to develop testing equipment for batteries and power electronics components in our vehicles, and energy products.
This team specifically develops custom, high-power, automated testing equipment for our production lines around the world.
What You'll Do
- Perform electro-mechanical tasks (Electrical / control panel wiring, frame / fixture assemble, bench test setup)
- Work from complex and detailed manufacturing documentation, drawings, and / or verbal and written instructions and specialized fixtures / test equipment
- Aide in troubleshooting mechanical & electrical
- Participate in initial equipment conceptual development
- Stay organized, interacting with cross-functional teams and working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Inventory management and package pickup
- Support deployment of testing equipment at Tesla facilities and contract manufacturers
