Texas Nursing Job Details Location : Corpus Christi, TX 78414 Assignment Type : Travel nursing job Unit : Labor & Delivery (L&D) Shift : Nights, 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour shifts) Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 9 / 2025 – End : 2 / 7 / 2026) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Pay : $1820 - $1950 May float to : Postpartum unit as needed Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Texas RN License or compact state nursing license Current BLS certification (AHA required) Current NRP certification (AHA required) Current ACLS certification (AHA required) Certification in AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery or related nursing experience Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred L&D Nurse Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients using the nursing process : assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation Administer medications and treatments according to hospital protocols, monitoring patient responses Accurately document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided Educate patients, families, and caregivers on health, procedures, and recovery Support the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families Delegate and assign tasks to other healthcare providers as appropriate Participate in ongoing competency verification and hospital training programs Float to postpartum unit as needed Apply now to join our healthcare team in Corpus Christi, Texas and make a difference as a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse!
