Licensed PAC Nurse

A company is looking for a PAC Nurse to manage post-acute care facilities through telephonic collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Manage length of stay and discharge planning for assigned post-acute facilities through scheduled telephonic interactions

Authorize continued stays and determine medical necessity using clinical expertise and established guidelines

Act as a clinical resource for unlicensed staff and communicate facility concerns to supervisors for resolution

Required Qualifications

Current and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse

Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing / Practical Nursing or equivalent

Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in a healthcare setting

Expertise in Utilization Management and knowledge of URAC & NCQA standards

Broad knowledge of healthcare delivery and managed care regulations
