Project Engineer – Industrial Design (Mechanical / Chemical)

Apollo Technical is seeking a licensed Project Engineer with 4+ years of experience to lead technical design and project execution for industrial facilities (including pulp & paper, chemical processing, power, and manufacturing). This role involves hands-on design, project management, and client interaction.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead process-mechanical engineering design from concept through construction.
  • Develop layouts, PFDs, P&IDs, piping systems, equipment specs, and cost estimates.
  • Oversee multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and clients.
  • Perform field visits, construction support, and site verification.
  • Mentor junior engineers and assist with business development and proposals.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering field.
  • PE License or EIT Required
  • Minimum 4 years of industrial design experience.
  • Proficiency in piping systems, pumps, P&IDs, and AutoCAD / 3D modeling software.
  • Strong communication, project management, and team leadership skills.

    • Additional Information :

  • Salary and benefits based on experience. Range $80,000 - $160,000.
  • Includes participation in an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and 401(k).
