Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an Engineering Manager II to manage the Large Caliber Ammunition (LCA) portfolio for our Armament Systems Business Unit. Come join our team of dedicated, diverse individuals based out of our Plymouth, MN facility. Armament Systems specializes in the development and production of Ammunition, Guns, and Precision Guidance Ordinance.
Location : This position requires on-site support. The selected candidate will need to be within commuting distance to our site in Plymouth, MN. Relocation assistance may be available if the selected candidate is not local.
Position Summary / Responsibilities :
The Engineering Manager II reports to the LCA Senior Engineering Manager and manages specific LCA engineering activities across the business portfolio which includes 120mm and 105mm ammunition. The LCA Engineering Manager II leads a small and diverse team that supports ongoing LCA production programs, proposal efforts for new business, and the development of future LCA production capabilities. This position will provide functional management leadership, team building, transition to production, and manufacturing engineering expertise in the production of advanced large caliber ammunition. The person filling this position must have an extensive background in functional leadership and understand a wide variety of manufacturing processes (e.g. hydraulic / pneumatic presses, CNC machining, tooling, inspection equipment, injection molding, metal fabrication, etc.) and have experience in transition to production environment.

Primary Level Salary Range : $135,800.00 - $203,600.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
