SUMMARY
The full-time Duvel USA Imports Associate Brand Manager is responsible for managing, developing, and contributing to the brand strategies and product development lifecycle for Duvel USA Import Brands. This person will assist in developing marketing plans that deliver volume growth and profitability. A master storyteller with a strong understanding of the Belgian beer culture, the Associate Brand Manager also has the proven ability to bring products to market that drive consumer engagement and sales. The Associate Brand Manager for these brands embodies the high-end / Import beer culture and exemplifies the brand lifestyle, with a deep understanding of how to connect with diverse consumers, distributors, and key retailers across the U.S.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the brand champion for the Duvel USA Import Portfolio, ensuring authentic brand positioning at all touchpoints
- Manage product lifecycle plans based on industry trends, consumer behaviors, and market whitespace to ensure long-term dynamic growth for brands
- Assist in all communication with the Duvel Moortgat Global Marketing team to ensure Duvel USA is set up to win in the U.S.
- Help plan, implement, and execute successful consumer and trade marketing programs, including strategic brand planning, market positioning, pricing, promotion, and advertising
- Set brand planning calendars for Duvel USA Imports and coordinate cross-functional activities, planning processes, managing timelines, and ensure timely completion of all deliverables
- Establish and maintain brand marketing budgets
- Utilize consumer and industry insights to illuminate product innovation opportunities and create marketing programs that drive growth
- Collaborate with the sales team for specific strategies with key partners
- Work with our Global Marketing teams to drive product innovation and programming to the U.S.
- Work with the Duvel USA internal agency design team on all Import Brand creative needs
- Work with Duvel USAs internal agency media team and agencies to develop and manage advertising campaigns and media plans to drive sales lift, consideration, and awareness
- Lead tracking and analysis of brand campaign performance, identifying risks & opportunities, and reporting back to the company findings and plans
- Work cross-functionally with other departments within the marketing and sales team, including trade marketing / POS, supply chain, sales leaders, logistics, and the chain team, to drive portfolio priorities to successful activation
- Create successful point-of-sales marketing efforts for trade activation
- Oversee strategic partnerships that drive new opportunities for Duvel USA Imports
- Ability to help lead, create, and present the Annual Business Plans to both internal and external stakeholders
