What you´ll do

Operates machines and production equipment safely in accordance with instructions.

Sets up or adjusts equipment according to manufacturing specifications.

Monitors the quality of output to identify or discard re-manufacture faulty products.

Maintains accurate daily production records so that manufacturing performance can be analyzed.

What makes you a good fit

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Performs most assignments totally independent.

As employee’s knowledge increases over time little to no supervision will be required to perform daily activities.

Works in a personable and professional manner and communicates in a professional and tactful manner to build teamwork across the shifts.

Takes initiative and moves to the work before being told.

Willing to learn new tasks or job responsibilities.

Is flexible to meet business needs across all cells.

More advanced operators should be able to independently solve complex problems.

Can use or become qualified to use various specialized tools (Scales, Thermal Tester, Peel Tester, Oil Absorption, Capillary Rheometer, etc)

Can convert U.S standards in metric measurements and weights.

Mechanical Aptitude to support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) within assigned area.

The salary for this role is $20.00 - $21.25. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
