Job Title : Senior Tax Accountant

Location : St. Louis, MO

About the job :

We are looking for a Senior Level Tax Accountant with a strong background in Public Accounting and excellent client relationship skills. Our ideal candidate will have experience preparing a variety of tax returns. This person will also have experience with prepared, compiled, and reviewed financial statements, as well as tax planning and research. This is a full time, in office position, with OT required during tax season .

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and / or review Individual, fiduciary, and business tax returns
• Keep up to date on changes in tax regulations and apply these changes to our existing client base or new clients as needed
• Develop and maintain professional client relationships
• Promote a culture of mentoring and training staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
• Manage correspondence with Irs and other taxing authorities as needed to resolve notices received
• Develop an understanding of the various software we use in the firm's overall workflow
