Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Read and understand the Job Ticket
• Verify sheet and image size, colors, number up and type of stock from job ticket.
• Locate the correct files on the server and verify layout to job ticket.
• Determine the correct resolution setting to get the desired quality level, knowing that anything above the quoted 4pass setting requires an approval.
• Compare the proof to the printed piece for a final approval.
• Monitors digital output and ensures that color accuracy, print quality throughout the run to the customers’
• Checks backup registration consistently throughout the run.
• When running multiple sheets up on the bed, keeps the sheets separate by position for registration / die cutting purposes with proper skid identification on all materials leaving the press. Proper skid identification is required when running a single sheet on the bed as well.
• Records the printed quantity and ink consumption into Epicor and updates job tickets.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the press and digital press area.
• Conducts machine maintenance as required throughout the shift.
• Thinks big picture and is able to communicate thoughts, ideas and concerns in an appropriate and timely manner. Always looking for ways to make things better.
• Works closely with other departments and remains flexible in hours and departments working in.
• Reports any down time or struggles through the appropriate channels and on the time sheet.
• Works in an efficient and safe manner at all times.
• Works to maintain a positive and professional environment at all times.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Education and / or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 1 to 3 years related experience and / or training

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of / or be willing to learn Epicor Manufacturing software.
