The Wyoming Department of Corrections (WDOC) is seeking a qualified and motivated Contract Manager to join our team in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This position is responsible for managing and overseeing the agency's medical and treatment programming contracts across five adult correctional facilities : Wyoming State Penitentiary (Rawlins), Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution (Torrington), Wyoming Honor Conservation Camp (Newcastle), Wyoming Women's Center (Lusk), Wyoming Honor Farm (Riverton).
The Contract Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the effective delivery of essential services to incarcerated individuals by overseeing vendor performance, maintaining contract compliance, and coordinating with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications :
Preferences will be given to applicants with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
Preferences will be given to applicants with three (3) or more years of progressive work experience (typically in Business) with acquired knowledge at a Senior Grants & Contract Administration Specialist level.
Preference given to those with experience working in a clinical or medical environment.
Preferences will be given to applicants with documented training and experience in the WOLFS accounting system.
Preferences will be given to applicants with knowledge or experience to prepare written documents and presenting information orally to groups.
Minimum Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's Degree (typically in Business)
Experience : 1-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Business) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Senior Grants & Contract Administration Specialist
OR
Education & Experience Substitution : 4-6 years of progressive work experience (typically in Business) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Senior Grants & Contract Specialist

Physical Working Conditions : Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying light items, driving an automobile, etc. Special physical demands are not required to perform the work. Some travel may be required.
