Project Manager at Blair Sign Programs
We are a leading sign company that designs, builds, and installs exterior signs and sign programs for retailers and commercial retail developers across the country. We have just celebrated our twenty-five-year anniversary of retail branding excellence in the built environment. Our current plans include opportunities for experienced project coordinators and managers to join our growing team. This is not an entry-level position and requires a minimum of three years of Project management-related work experience. Key elements and experience required include the following;
Responsibilities
Oversee all phases of illuminated sign projects from design approval through to installation.
Develop and manage project timelines to ensure all deliverables are met on schedule.
Maintain ownership of the project lifecycle and ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.
Create and issue purchase orders (POs) for materials, fabrication, and installation.
Source, hire, and manage external vendors, installers, and subcontractors.
Coordinate all site activities related to sign installation.
Research, interpret, and analyze local and municipal sign codes and permitting requirements.
Work with permitting agencies to secure necessary approvals and ensure compliance.
Analyze and manage project costs, ensuring budgets are adhered to and any deviations are tracked and communicated.
Provide cost-saving recommendations and value-engineering solutions when needed.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors (GCs), project managers and internal stakeholders.
Maintain regular updates with clients and GCs to communicate timelines, approvals, and issues.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with all project stakeholders.
Listen actively to client needs and provide effective, tailored solutions that align with project goals, brand requirements, and local regulations.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues that arise during manufacturing or installation.
Approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, proactively addressing potential risks and developing creative options that benefit both the project and the client.
