Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking an Attorney with 1- 5 years of experience in Defense Base Act, insurance defense, or workers' compensation to join our dynamic legal team for our client's office in Miami, FL.

• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing a diverse caseload and be eager to work alongside a supervising shareholder on a variety of cases.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a diverse caseload in workers' compensation matters from inception to resolution. Work closely with a supervising shareholder to develop case strategy and provide day-to-day legal support. Attend and represent clients at depositions, hearings, and trials. Prepare and respond to written discovery requests, including interrogatories and document production—draft updated reports to the client, draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents. Collaborate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel to advance cases efficiently. Maintain a high level of communication and responsiveness with clients and the firm's leadership.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience in workers' compensation or similar areas of law.
