This role requires a detail-oriented individual to manage and oversee various accounting functions, particularly in the efficient handling and processing of accounts payable transactions, vendor relations, and employee expense reporting. The position plays a crucial role in supporting Sr. Accounting Manager and ensuring accurate and timely financial operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• Current experience with Deltek Costpoint.
• At least 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable in the government contracting environment.
• At least 5 years experience in managing a team of at least 5+ individuals.
• Full Cycle Accounting a plus.
• Knowledge of government contract regulations, including FAR, DCAA, and other relevant compliance requirements.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
