Associate General Counsel, Real Estate

Overview

The Associate General Counsel (AGC) – Real Estate will collaborate with business leaders throughout the company to provide practical solutions to legal issues and risk management discussions. They will understand and contribute to the structuring, origination, and securitization of commercial real estate transactions. The AGC will also oversee environmental practice, ensuring internal staff and external consultants conform to Ryan’s environmental program and regulatory requirements. They will advise on legal aspects of the real estate project financing, along with current and future business structures including formation of legal entities.

Some Things You Can Expect To Do

• Assist real estate attorneys, paralegals and staff members in the review and preparation of documents, reports and correspondence.
• Anticipate and understand emerging talent needs and ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time to support future growth.
• Assess internal and external talent against emerging talent needs, and develop and motivate direct reports through feedback, stretch assignments, and other development resources or support.
• Create meaningful evaluation and recognition strategies across the team.

Compensation

The base pay range is $208,300-$265,000 / Annually. The salary may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and / or an incentive program.
