Lead Design Engineer - Robotics & Automation

  • 5+ years of SolidWorks custom machine design (from concept to completion) and 2+ years of experience in automation, welding processes, and customer interface are required
  • Bachelor's in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering is required
  • Pay is up to $90,000 annually
  • Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder
  • No remote as this is an onsite position
  • Full-time, permanent, W-2 employee

This full time, permanent Senior Project Engineer is at an employee-oriented company that turns innovative custom automation machinery into reality. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate include the following :

  • Lead end-to-end mechanical design of custom automation and robotic work cells, from concept to production
  • Manage multiple design projects strategically, ensuring timely delivery and resolving complex engineering challenges
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams and customers to optimize designs and ensure manufacturability
  • Create detailed 3D SolidWorks models and drawings, including comprehensive bills of materials
  • Drive continuous improvement in design quality and engineering processes

    • The background of the successful candidate must include the following :

  • Bachelors in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of SolidWorks custom machine design (concept-to-completion)
  • 2+ years in automation, welding processes, and customer interface
  • An understanding of machine tool, material science, hydraulic and pneumatic concepts
  • An understanding of machine design and power transmission
  • Possess a solid work history
  • Being a US citizen or green card holder
  • Having a residence within a 45-minute drive
