Job Title : Precision Assembly Technician - II - Shift B
Location : Kent, WA
Duration : 3-month Contract
Work Type : Onsite
Pay Range : $46.20 / Hr
Shift B : Monday - Thursday 03 : 00 PM - 01 : 30 AM, with potential for overtime requests.
Job Description
- Build launch vehicles, spacecraft, and launch facility systems as part of a diverse team of technicians.
- Manufacture, assemble, and support hardware testing to meet program requirements.
- Contribute to space exploration history with a focus on safety and repeatability.
- Apply technical expertise, leadership, and commitment to quality to support safe human spaceflight.
Additional Responsibilities
Assemble structural, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanically actuated components for various spacecraft systems.Ensure assembly of structural components meets aerospace standards.Collaborate with engineers on design reviews and development tests.Follow work instructions, plan assembly steps, and work safely with hazardous systems.Work effectively in a team with changing priorities and demonstrate problem-solving skills.Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills.3-5+ years of precision assembly experience.Experience with drilling, close-tolerance holes, and reading technical drawings.Proficiency with standard tools, fabrication equipment, and Microsoft Office.Experience in aerospace, military hardware, or related fields.Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.Preferred Qualifications
Experience with launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly.Over 5 years in aerospace or related fields.A&P license or similar experience.Knowledge of pressurized systems and heavy lifting equipment.Experience with 3D measurement tools and CAD software.Contract Benefits
