Position Summary :
Provide system-level administration and cybersecurity support for HAKC’s environment, focusing on monitoring, threat mitigation, and staff enablement.This role complements the Infrastructure Engineer by strengthening HAKC’s security posture and delivering practical, hands-on training to agency staff.Key Responsibilities
Monitor and respond to network / system security alerts and incidents.Review and improve firewall, MFA, and endpoint protection configurations.Apply security best practices for Azure, Meraki, and VMware platforms.Conduct basic vulnerability checks and coordinate remediation steps.Implement and document patch management and password-policy routines.Deliver short training sessions and quick-reference guides for HAKC IT staff.Prepare or update SOPs / technical documentation to support knowledge transfer.Assist in compliance tracking and audit-readiness activities.Participate in change reviews and provide risk inputs during upgrades.Requirements
Required Skills
7 to 10 Years of experience required.Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.Experience in security monitoring tools / event logs (Microsoft Defender, SIEM).Understanding of Cisco Meraki firewall / security policies and VPN setup.Working knowledge of Azure Security Center, Intune, and conditional access.Skilled in documentation, training, and communication with non-technical users.Preferred Certifications (any one atleast or more)
CompTIA Security+Microsoft MCSA / MCSEAzure Security Engineer (AZ-500)ITIL FoundationRequirements
