Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare social worker position is available in a school setting located in Waukegan, IL. This contract-to-hire role focuses on early childhood assessment and support for students. The role offers the opportunity to work full time during regular school hours, supporting student wellness and development through targeted social work services.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and screenings of students as part of the early childhood assessment team
• Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare providers to develop individualized support plans
• Provide counseling and intervention services that address social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school and healthcare regulations
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary efforts to improve student outcomes

Location : Waukegan, Illinois

Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM 3 : 30 PM, full time

Contract Type : Contract to Hire
