Material Handler

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, cold environment with a positive attitude, flexibility, and adherence to procedures. The candidate must be detail-oriented, reliable, and team-spirited.

Responsibilities :

• Pick and verify products for transfers to other facilities.
• Receive inter-site transfers for daily packaging and raw material needs.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in tight spaces.
• Provide production support, including picking and verifying products needed by each zone daily and put away of returns when necessary.
• Put away all inbound products, including picking and verifying products.
• Label all products correctly with all required labels.
• Use RI systems to move products systematically in real time to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and honestly.
• Adhere to posted Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) when working within the production facility.

Work Environment :

The work environment is a fast-paced food manufacturing facility focused on producing high-quality soups, sides, and entres. The site features dynamic production schedules requiring flexibility and responsiveness. There are multiple warehouse shifts available : 1st Shift from 6 AM to 2 PM, 2nd Shift from 1 PM to 9 PM with a shift differential, and 3rd Shift from 8 PM to 6 AM with a shift differential. During the busy season, mandatory overtime may be required. The environment encourages proactive communication and teamwork.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract position based out of Warren, Rhode Island.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
