DIRECTOR OF FP&A
We have been engaged by a global, mid-sized technology company in its search for a proven Director of FP&A. The company is an industry leader with strong market share and a clear vision for ongoing growth. Reporting directly to the CFO, this Director of FP&A role is a high-visibility, high-impact role in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment. This role works closely with cross-functional leaders, shapes strategic decisions, and drives financial clarity across the region. Scope of role will include :
Manage annual budgeting and forecasting processes across departments
Deliver detailed reporting on actuals vs. budget / forecast, business metrics, and P&L analysis
Own revenue planning in collaboration with Sales and Operations
Design and implement strategies to improve processes, reporting, and controls
Provide meaningful financial insights through data modeling and forecasting
Lead monthly reporting and intercompany consolidations
Prepare dashboards and conduct analytics using tools like Power BI and Excel
Drive finance transformation projects
Partner with leadership to provide recommendations based on trends and KPIs
Coach and develop FP&A staff
The right candidate for this Director of FP&A role will have :
Bachelor's degree from top tier university, with CPA or MBA strongly preferred
8-11+ years of progressive Corporate FP&A experience, with full P&L ownership
Strong track record in companies $200-500M+ in annual revenue
Experience working in high-growth, Private Equity-backed company environment required.
Expert level Excel modeling and data extraction skills, as well as expertise in Power BI, SQL, Tableau and or other related tools
Experience with financial statement modeling and scenario analysis
Excellent presentation and communication skills; comfortable with senior leadership
Highly analytical, strategic, and process-improvement mindset
Track record of stability and career progression required for consideration
