Security Professional Unarmed Transportation Patrol

As a Security Professional Unarmed Transportation Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a major transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for travelers and staff. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate : $18.12 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Tue 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Wed 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the transportation location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to clients and visitors.
  • Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal management and client representatives relevant to the transportation environment.
  • Assist with access control, monitoring entrances and exits, and verifying credentials as required by site-specific protocols.
  • Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner as directed by Allied Universal policies.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification and / or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
