As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol designated hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence will provide reassurance and help maintain order, while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate : $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Tue 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM Wed 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM Thur 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues within the healthcare location.
  • Assist with access control, visitor management, and / or escorting individuals as needed within the premises.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as required.
  • Document all incidents and activities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and client requirements.
  • Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times while performing patrols and other assigned duties.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to work in hospital environments, including areas such as morgues, and be able to restrain individuals as needed.
  • Must comply with all hospital vaccination requirements.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
