Associate Engineer II Drug Product Process Development

Are you ready to help advance early-stage drug product manufacturing? We’re seeking an Associate Engineer II (Contract) to join our Drug Product Process Development team. In this role, you’ll support the design, scale-up, and tech transfer of robust drug product processes from early clinical through late-stage development and commercialization.

What You'll Do :

🧬 Design, plan, and execute experiments to define key process parameters for drug product manufacturing

⚙️ Support general process design including contact material selection, hardware setup, mixing, filtration, and filling

🔄 Assist in scaling and transferring manufacturing processes to CMOs, ensuring alignment with GMP requirements

🤝 Collaborate with Formulation and Analytics teams to troubleshoot and optimize drug product processes

📄 Contribute to the drafting and reviewing of manufacturing batch records, tech transfer reports, and related documentationes

What We're Looking For :

✅ Bachelor’s degree + 2 years, or Master’s degree + 1 year in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field

✅ At least 2 years of relevant experience in drug product manufacturing or aseptic processing

✅ Hands-on experience in clinical or commercial fill-finish operations under GMP conditions

✅ Knowledge of pharmaceutical scale-up strategies and process development methodologies

✅ Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, JMP preferred)

✅ Strong communication and documentation skills with scientific rigor

✅ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

➕ Experience with adjuvant biologics or biologic drug products is a plus
