We also know that not everyone comes to us with these skills. That's why we put each specialistthose with or without trainingthrough an in-depth and comprehensive training program. Each Blue Kangaroo PACKOUTZ member learns the entire contents restoration process while honing in on their specific cleaning or restoration skills. It's all a part of our ongoing support and training experience.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Restoration and contents experience, job estimating, able to use multiple software and ERP systems, long-term planning to create initiatives that further the company's overall goals. Coordinating different teams to foster exchange of ideas and provide cross-team learning opportunities. Assessing and analyzing departmental budgets to find ways to minimize expenses and optimize profits. Inspiring and motivating employees to perform at their best through positive encouragement and incentive initiatives. Communicating with the General Manager about shifting company priorities and projects. Identifying potential problems and points of friction and working to find solutions in order to maximize efficiency and revenue. Identifying opportunities to expand or shift course in order to take advantage of changes in the market. Oversee the inventory, packout, cleaning, vaulting, wrapping, staging, and pack back of documents / merchandise as part of the PO / PB / Cleaning and Restoration process. Adjust staffing levels / schedules according to volume / priorities / holidays, etc. Assure all Operations departments are fully staffed with proper, trained personnel. Responsible for the safety program including leading / participating in safety meetings. Oversee the investigation and resolution of inventory counts that don't match or inventory unable to locate. Conduct staff meetings on a regular basis. Responsible for the 5S's : sort, straighten, shine, standardize and sustain. Authority as detailed in the Company's Standard Operating Procedures.
