As part of our Group Benefit Solutions Underwriting team, you will directly impact the financial results of our business while helping us deliver financial protection and peace of mind to the millions we serve. As an Underwriting Analyst, you will develop skills across several business competencies including :

Risk Management & Assessment

• Assess the risk and underwrite prospective and inforce clients within Group Benefit Solutions product portfolio : Life, Accident, Disability, Absence Administration, and Voluntary Benefits
• Communicate pricing, profitability, and risk profile of clients with internal matrix partners
• Contribute to company financial goals through risk decisions while balancing and maintaining favorable financial outcomes at a broader book of business level

What You'll Do

As a Full-Time Underwriting Analyst in the LAUNCH Program, you will begin with structured training during your first year and a defined timeline for year one and beyond.

Where You'll Work

The Underwriting Summer Internship position is in the Farmington Underwriting Hub, just outside of Hartford. The hub hosts a diverse team in a modern building, with ongoing growth through both tenured hires and on-campus recruiting at local universities.

Qualifications

To join as a Full-Time Underwriting Analyst, you should have :

Pay Transparency

Salary range : $60,000

Overtime eligible : Nonexempt

Discretionary bonus eligible : Yes

Sales bonus eligible : No

Actual base salary will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Employees may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and an incentive program.
