Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance, location and salary range at the time of the offer.Responsibilities\n\nDeliver professional nursing care in the operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or other invasive procedures.\n
• Perform scrub function including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during procedure.\n
• Perform circulating function including monitoring, recording and communicating patient condition and\nmanaging overall nursing care of patient before, during and after procedure.\n
• Directly assist operating physician with surgical task including hemostasis, suturing and wound exposure as well as patient positioning.\n
• Prepare operating room and surgical instruments and equipment for use.Requirements\n\nLicensure / Certification / Registration : \n
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.\n\nOne or more of the following required : \n
• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.\n
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.\n\nEducation : \n
