A company is looking for a Financial Clearance Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and develop the Financial Clearance Team Leads and staff
Perform quality reviews of patient accounts for accuracy in accordance with policies and procedures
Provide training and feedback to staff while monitoring adherence to established procedures
Required Qualifications
High school diploma required
5-7 years of financial clearance experience in a medical practice or healthcare setting
Understanding of managed care contract types, specialty insurance, and billing practices
Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and other government assistance programs and regulations
