Communications Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Communications Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. As a Communications Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and executing communication strategies that enhance our organizations image, promote our brand, and engage stakeholders internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop, edit, and distribute internal and external communications including press releases, newsletters, reports, presentations, and social media content.

Collaborate with marketing, HR, and executive teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment of messages.

Manage media relations, respond to media inquiries, and maintain relationships with journalists and influencers.

Assist in the planning and execution of corporate events, webinars, and public relations campaigns.

Monitor and analyze communication effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.

Support crisis communication efforts and provide timely responses to emerging issues.

Maintain content calendars and ensure timely delivery of communication materials.

Stay updated on communication trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related role.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Proficiency with digital communication tools, including social media platforms, content management systems, and analytics tools.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.

Hourly Pay Rate :

$28 - $42 per hour (commensurate with experience, education, and geographic location).
