Finance and Operations Associate

Salary : Competitive and commensurate with experience We will appoint within our current US salary range for this role of $47,750 to $50,000.

Location : Hybrid (3 days weekly required in the IBP's office in Washington, DC, US)
Preferred start date : Ideally 1st December 2025

About this role
The International Budget Partnership (IBP) is looking to appoint a Finance and Operations Assistant to join our globally dispersed Finance and Operations team. This is a vital role supporting both our financial and administrative functions across IBP. The Finance and Operations Assistant will be responsible for processing accounts payable and supporting regular financial transactions, while also playing a key role in office management, event and travel coordination, and executive assistance. The role requires a detail-oriented, highly organized individual who is comfortable working across multiple administrative and operational tasks. The Assistant will report to the Finance and Payroll Officer and collaborate closely with the wider Finance and Operations team and other program staff.
This hybrid role provides an excellent opportunity for a proactive and adaptable professional looking to begin a career in finance / accounting, to support core financial processes and strengthen organizational operations both in the US and wider global organization.
