Part-Time Paralegal

Paralegal – General Litigation (State & Federal)

A downtown Fort Lauderdale law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in both state and federal litigation who is looking for a flexible, in-office position with the potential to transition into a full-time role.

Responsibilities :

Support attorneys in all phases of litigation, including case management, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.

Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other court documents in state and federal courts.

Manage deadlines, calendars, and docketing to ensure compliance with court rules.

Organize and maintain case files, including electronic filing systems.

Assist with deposition preparation, trial exhibits, and witness coordination.

Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel as needed.

Qualifications :

Minimum 3+ years of paralegal experience in general litigation (state and federal).

Proficiency in e-filing systems and litigation support software.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to handle multiple cases and priorities simultaneously.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Schedule & Compensation :

In-office in Downtown Fort Lauderdale .

3 days per week

Compensation : $25+ per hour , commensurate with experience.
