Security Guard - Government Facility Unarmed Patrol

As a Security Guard - Government Facility Unarmed Patrol in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment. You will conduct regular patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and interact with individuals on site with professionalism and respect. This role emphasizes strong communication and customer service while working alongside a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation. Pay Rate : $18.02 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Tue 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Wed 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Thur 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Sun 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
