Role Overview

The CIO will lead investment strategy and capital formation as the company transitions into a global power platform. Reporting to the CEO, this executive will oversee fundraising, project finance, corporate capital planning, and corporate development (JVs, partnerships, alliances). The CIO will design scalable capital structures, drive growth strategy with the Board, and build a world-class finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead equity, debt, structured equity & project-level financing.
• Develop / execute investment strategy tied to project deployment & offtakes.
• Negotiate and close financings across construction, term, and corporate facilities.
• Build and manage investor relationships (banks, funds, sovereigns, infra PE).
• Partner with CEO / Board on growth, valuation, and capital allocation.
• Scale a high-performing finance & capital markets team.
