Overview
We are currently hiring for a full-time, salary position, with start as early as September 8, 2025. This position will include direct service Monday-Friday. Hours are set at the beginning of each semester (January, June & September) and will vary each day, meaning some days will be 9a-5pm or 10a-6p, etc. The work week is comprised of direct client contact, office hours for planning and documentation, supervision meetings, and traveling in between clients.
Responsibilities
As a member of our team, you will be expected to provide individual and group music therapy sessions to children and adults diagnosed with developmental disabilities, mental health disorders, neurological needs, behavioral needs, etc. You will be expected to write treatment plans, keep accurate data, write clinical reports, and ensure that client schedules are maintained. You will participate in treatment team meetings, assist with team functions including marketing events, and complete general administrative tasks such as keeping your time sheet and recording student attendance. The biggest populations served at Beyond Words include children diagnosed with Autism and Down Syndrome — specifically with communication and / or behavioral needs — however, we also service young children in preschools / day schools and adults with developmental disabilities within a group home or day program setting. Our services are balanced between group (schools & day programs) and individual settings (in studio & at students home).
Benefits and Compensation
Base pay range : $43,000.00 / yr - $50,000.00 / yr
