Senior Consultant
Our Senior Consultant mentors, develops, and coaches our team members while shaping and leading projects, developing relationships with clients, and contributing to business development in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
General Duties :
- Guide project work through creative and diligent project planning, crafting project approaches, assigning roles and responsibilities, monitoring success and managing risks, and discussing needs and options with clients.
- Efficiently design, develop, and produce high-quality deliverables using proven methodologies and frameworks.
- Lead data-gathering efforts (i.e., interviews, surveys, or other quantitative and qualitative data collection / analysis) and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Design, facilitate, and manage client strategy sessions and operational review meetings.
- Conduct outstanding analyses and write reports to synthesize the outputs of major interactions in concise documents.
- Serve as lead subject matter expert during the development of proposals, which includes writing content and advising on approaches.
- Develop relationships with clients and stakeholders to support the project outcomes and inform follow-on work or new work opportunities.
- Identify future needs of existing clients (beyond current project outcomes) and work with leadership to develop approaches for securing work.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degreeMinimum 6 years of relevant consulting or project management experience.Project Leadership : Proven ability to design and lead project approaches, define success criteria, manage risks, and deliver high-quality outputs.Client Engagement : Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills; experienced in leading strategy sessions, data-gathering, and client relationship development.Desired Qualifications :
Master's degreeAdditional consulting-related education / certifications (i.e PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Prosci)Demonstrated experience working within or in support of the Defense Security Enterprise, with a strong understanding of its policies, frameworks, and operational prioritiesStrong relationship management skills and the ability to build, manage, and sustain professional relationships with diverse stakeholders.Business development experience in a consulting environment, including supporting capture efforts, contributing to proposals, and cultivating client relationships to expand engagement opportunitiesClearance :
