Mitigation Estimator / Job File Coordinator

Overview

Restoration / Mitigation Estimator position with SERVPRO Franchise. You will help customers throughout restoration projects and support efforts to make fire and water damage "Like it never even happened."

Primary Responsibilities

• Customer Satisfaction
• Establish customer relationships for restoration services
• Educate customers on the restoration process
• Work with customers to understand desired upgrades / changes
• Ensure that estimates meet client requirements
• Project Initiation
• Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for a project
• Create an accurate sketch and initial scope of work for restoration projects
• Deliver a consistent and well-defined initial estimate
• Recognize project constraints and / or needed upgrades
• Work with Project Manager to price bid items, if needed
• Project Planning
• Identify and document finalized project scope of work
• Work with outside resources as necessary to complete accurate estimates (e.g., Abatement Contractors, ITEL, Adjusters)
• Assemble accurate and well-organized estimates
• Deliver and communicate estimates to the Project Manager

Necessary Experience and Skill Set

Physical and Work Environment

Frequent driving and sitting at a desk. Occasionally climbing ladders. May be exposed to extreme conditions such as heat for short periods. The work environment and job sites can be loud.

Working Hours and Travel

This is a full-time position. Long hours, on-call rotation, and some weekend work. Travel is primarily local; some out-of-area and overnight travel may be needed.
