Oregon Licensed PAS Resource Specialist

A company is looking for a PAS Resource Specialist responsible for managing the authorization process for Rehabilitation Services outpatient appointments.

Key Responsibilities

Verify patient eligibility and secure referrals / authorizations for outpatient therapy appointments

Provide training and guidance to PAS Specialists and maintain knowledge of diagnostic and procedural coding

Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes, including scheduling return appointments and collecting payments

Required Qualifications

One year of experience in a medical office setting with direct patient contact and appointment scheduling, or one and a half years in a public contact position with six months in a medical office

Thorough knowledge of PAS policies and procedures

Demonstrated advanced PAS user skills and knowledge of integrated care
