Executive Recruiter, Senior Director of Environmental, Health, Safety, & Human Resources
Position Summary : The EHS Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of environmental, health, and safety programs across the manufacturing facility. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices, while driving a strong safety culture and promoting employee engagement. The EHS Coordinator will support multiple discrete product manufacturing operations, requiring adaptability and a collaborative approach to safety and compliance management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of EHS policies, programs, and procedures in alignment with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulatory standards.
- Conduct and document safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across various manufacturing processes.
- Support the investigation of incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions are implemented.
- Lead and / or support EHS training initiatives, including new hire orientations, annual compliance training, and specialized safety topics.
- Maintain and report on EHS performance metrics, ensuring timely submission of required regulatory and internal reports.
- Partner with operations and engineering teams to drive risk reduction projects, ergonomics improvements, and hazard control measures.
- Support compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001 standards, as applicable.
- Coordinate with external agencies, contractors, and auditors during inspections, permitting, and reporting activities.
- Promote a proactive safety-first culture by engaging employees at all levels and reinforcing safe work behaviors.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).2+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting; experience with discrete product manufacturing a plus.Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA requirements, and ISO management systems.Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs.Professional certifications such as GSP, ASP, or CSP (or working toward certification) are a plus.Seniority level
