Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a Project Accounting Manager / Supervisor to join our successful, environmental engineering firm.

The Ideal Candidate :

  • Has a Business or Accounting degree or similar Accounting experience
  • Has Architecture / Engineering / Construction Industry experience
  • Has experience with Deltek software
  • Has 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
  • Has a professional demeanor and appearance
  • Is a good communicator with solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Is organized, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Is able to teach and train staff on new technologies, tools and platforms
  • Is adaptable and able to learn new technologies and processes
  • Has Strong computer skills in MS Office, PDF and Windows applications

    • Duties include :

  • Hiring / Leading / Training the firmwide Project Accounting Team
  • Ensuring the Project Accounting Team meets monthly billing goals
  • Managing and balancing Project Accounting Team workload and managing deadlines
  • Assisting Project Managers and Project Accounting staff with project invoice or reporting related issues
  • Compiling monthly Unbilled Revenue report
  • Overseeing other monthly Project Accounting activities
  • Helping with Billing, project openings and closings as needed to meet deadlines
