Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and InRoads and / or OpenRoads Designer (ORD). Strong understanding of civil infrastructure design principles , including grading, roadways, and drainage. Ability to interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and redlines. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Associate degree or technical certification in drafting, design technology, or related field preferred. Competitive salary based on experience $50 to $60 per hour. Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CADD Drafter with a minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering design. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and OpenRoads Designer , with a strong understanding of roadway, drainage, and utility design workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings and design layouts for transportation, site development, and infrastructure projects.
- Develop plans, profiles, cross-sections, and construction details using AutoCAD and OpenRoads.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy and consistency.
- Review and update drawings to reflect design changes and project requirements.
- Maintain CAD standards, templates, and project documentation.
- Assist with quantity takeoffs, plan production, and file management.
- Ensure all drawings comply with client, agency, and company standards.
