Sales Representative, Inside Sales Location : This is an onsite position based out of the Detroit, MI metro 5 days a week (must currently live within commuting distance) ASSA ABLOY is a global leader in door opening solutions dedicated to providing a safe, secure, and accessible building environment.

Key areas you will contribute to the role include : Customer service / inside sales : Customer relations.

Maintain contact and drive revenue by managing Inside Sales Outreach Program target accounts.

Lead sharing and assigning through Salesforce.

Coordinate team efforts to offer get brands approved for project work driving our substitution request process.

Sales operations : Customer data and database updates and management.

Lead generation process management.

Salesforce power user.

Monthly sales reports and project win reports Event management : Fleet (MIS) event coordination.

Trade show coordination.

Meeting / event management.

Lead distribution and follow-up (in conjunction with outside sales teams).

Secondary focus areas : Secondary / back-up pricing administration duties.

Work with Director, Sales to set discounts and generate quotes for customers as a back-up to primary pricing administrator.

Other duties as assigned.

Education and / or experience : Your background includes a College / University degree (preference for business administration or a similar field,), or have work experience commensurate with, minimum high school / GED diploma.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Experience with CRM, reporting, and contact management tools.

Working knowledge of industry-related software is a plus.

You have a can-do, entrepreneurial spirit.

You are a strong communicator.

You have the ability to organize broad information from numerous sources into cohesive and effective content and reports.

You are detail-oriented, organized, and have strong follow-up habits.

Special considerations : This position is not remote and is expected to be in person full-time Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.

The wage range for this role considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions.

Pay within each range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, to primary work job-related knowledge, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business requirements, geographic location and other business and organizational needs.

This salary range is a reasonable estimate for this position at the time of posting.
