SS&C GenAI / ML Sr. Sales Executive Enterprise Services

The SS&C Distribution Solutions business sells innovative technology and data to asset managers in support of their investment product distribution efforts. SS&C's services have expanded to include powerful GenAI and ML solutions that provide asset manager sales and marketing teams the insight and efficiency they require to accelerate sales growth in an intensively competitive landscape.

In your role as a Generative AI and ML Sales Executive, you will be working with an extensive list of current SS&C clients that are prospects for innovative, new AI solutions. Your role is to drive a high growth of revenue in these services working with clients on adoption and key success metrics. Your sales and consultative expertise in collaboration with an existing generalist sales team will drive a high rate of engagement and trust that will lead to adoption and revenue for SS&C. For each client you will clearly distinguish the unique value proposition that SS&C possesses in a crowded field.

  • As the expert in GenAI ML solutions, lead the sales process from prospecting through closing in coordination with a generalist Account Manager, including conducting discovery to qualify opportunities, preparing subject matter experts and other team members, developing presentations, providing quality and timely follow-up to prospects and creating pricing proposals.
  • Experience leading or working as part of a team in the delivery of an AI or closely related project which delivered significant commercial value in production for hundreds or more of end users.
  • Work closely and on an ongoing basis with the Enterprise Services Product Team to ensure feedback from clients on features and functions is clearly understood which will drive enhancements in the product roadmap for the GenAI ML services.
  • Through your deep technical expertise, accelerate customer adoption building rapport with executive decision makers at the prospect and develop relationships at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline of short-, medium- and long-term opportunities through active outreach and nurturing relationships with decision-makers.
  • Conduct high volume of outreach, including calling, emailing, and running marketing campaigns to generate new leads and opportunities.
  • Prepare for prospect meetings with high degree of organization and attention to detail, and deliver high quality presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Take a consultative approach to understanding a prospect's challenges, priorities and strategic objectives, and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Develop a thoughtful strategy and execution plan for every prospect engagement, leading to a well-run sales process and high close rate.
  • Run complex, consultant-led Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, ensuring responses are consistent, of the highest professional quality, and submitted on time.
  • Maintain relationships with industry consultants and other influencers to create advocates for SS&C in the market and drive referrals.
  • Plan and attend industry conferences with proactive outreach to schedule meetings with target prospects and maximize our return on investment.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal team members and executives to strategize, prepare, and execute on new client opportunities.
  • Organize PowerPoint slides and talking points for internal presenters, including executives and subject matter experts.
  • Work diligently as an individual contributor and collaboratively with the broader sales team to accurately forecast and consistently achieve revenue targets.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of SS&C products and services and be able to communicate our unique value proposition to prospective clients.

What You Will Bring :

  • 5+ years of full sales cycle, technology sales or equivalent business development, sales engineering / consulting or equivalent experience including pre-sales
  • 3+ years of AIML sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience executing detailed go to market plans
  • Experience proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the customer's business
  • Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals Experience in direct sales or business development in analytics, software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives
  • Experience in engineering, computer science, or MIS
  • AIML degree / certifications
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively and to drive new revenue in a complex, performance-oriented environment.
  • Organizational intelligence and ability to navigate a large, global organization.
  • Flexibility to travel.

NY : Salary range for the position : 165,000 USD to 190,000 + Bonus USD.
