Shifts : 5 : 30a 3 : 30p, 10a 9p, 2p 1a, 8p 6a
Description :
- Patient volume : 135 / day; common cases include chest pain, abdominal pain, trauma, ortho injuries, pediatrics, shortness of breath, and pregnancy-related issues
- Procedures : Intubation, central line, chest tube, fracture / joint reductions, conscious sedation, cardioversion, FAST ultrasound exams, and more
- Support : RNs, LPNs, techs, RTs, plus 2 APPs per shift (except late overnight / early morning)
- Trauma level : Level III (with Level I trauma surgeon support as needed)
- Orientation : 2 4 hour site orientation and EMR training (if needed)
