Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Care team. This role provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in pre- and post-surgical settings, with a focus on patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes. The successful candidate will assess patient needs, implement individualized care plans, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment : Develop and evaluate individualized patient care plans in coordination with healthcare providers
- Direct Nursing Care : Deliver hands-on nursing care to pre- and post-surgery patients, including monitoring and evaluating medical status
- Medication Administration : Accurately prepare, administer, and document prescribed medications
- Procedural Care : Perform routine nursing procedures, such as catheter insertion, dressing changes, and IV initiation
- Equipment Management : Operate and adjust specialized medical equipment; record and interpret relevant data
- Monitoring and Reporting : Track patients' vital signs and report any adverse reactions or changes in condition
- Discharge Planning : Assist in developing discharge instructions and follow-up care plans with the care team
- Patient Education : Provide education and address questions from patients and families about surgeries and recovery
- Documentation : Maintain complete and accurate medical records and ensure compliance with documentation standards
- Standards Adherence : Uphold best practices, safety guidelines, and nursing protocols consistently
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in an ambulatory, surgical, or acute care settingValid state nursing licenseCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationStrong clinical judgment and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentCertifications (if any)
