SAP AP Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to efficiently process a high volume of invoices while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle multiple tasks and work effectively within a team.
Responsibilities
- Process 180 invoices per day.
- Verify invoices and route for coding and / or approval, including processing check requests.
- Match, batch, and code invoices, performing three-way matching with purchase orders.
- Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
- Reconcile vendor statements and research and correct discrepancies.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
- Maintain thorough and accurate files and documentation in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
- Assist in month-end closing and respond to audit inquiries.
- Handle all phone calls and correspondences related to Accounts Payable.
- Maintain 1099 records.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Minimum 2-4 years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experienceProficiency in SAP ERPExperience with three-way matchingStrong Microsoft Excel skillsHigh School Diploma or equivalentExperience with OpenText OCR-based scanning system is a plusOrganized, dependable, and a team playerAttention to detail and ability to prioritize workAbility to process high volume of invoices accuratelyGood judgment and ability to work independentlyStrong MS Office skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesFlexible, adaptable, and high level of initiativeWork Environment
This position requires working fully in the office alongside a direct team of 4 people, as well as the larger Accounts Payable team of 17 people. The office setup includes working at cubicles, and productivity reports are utilized.
Job Type & Location
This is a 6 month contract-to-hire position based out of Dallas, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00 / hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Dallas, TX.
