SAP AP Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to efficiently process a high volume of invoices while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle multiple tasks and work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Process 180 invoices per day.
• Verify invoices and route for coding and / or approval, including processing check requests.
• Match, batch, and code invoices, performing three-way matching with purchase orders.
• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
• Reconcile vendor statements and research and correct discrepancies.
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
• Maintain thorough and accurate files and documentation in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
• Assist in month-end closing and respond to audit inquiries.
• Handle all phone calls and correspondences related to Accounts Payable.
• Maintain 1099 records.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

Work Environment

This position requires working fully in the office alongside a direct team of 4 people, as well as the larger Accounts Payable team of 17 people. The office setup includes working at cubicles, and productivity reports are utilized.

Job Type & Location

This is a 6 month contract-to-hire position based out of Dallas, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00 / hr.
