About the Role
Project Manager
The Project Manager is responsible for managing high-impact, complex projects from start to finish. The Project Manager oversees the initiation, ongoing management, and completion of large, complex projects, ensuring comprehensive oversight of budget, schedule, and quality, with the authority to delegate tasks to team members. You’ll drive success by managing budgets, timelines, and quality standards—while empowering your team through strategic delegation and leadership. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference on projects that matter.

- Location : This position will be working on a project near the Des Moines, Iowa area.
- Work Schedule : Monday - Friday
- Work Type : Full Time, Exempt
Position Responsibilities :
Lead project meetings and ensure alignment across all project phases.Monitor progress against key milestones, proactively resolve challenges, and maintain accountability across stakeholders.Develop and manage complex project plans that integrate multiple scopes, timelines, and resource needs. Ensure all project documentation is thorough, timely, and compliant with internal and external standards. Implement and optimize advanced project management tools to streamline workflows and enhance visibility. Manage detailed project budgets, procurement activities, and financial performance.Conduct detailed cost analyses, identify financial risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Review and approve cost change orders and ensure financial impacts are well documented and justified.Manage subcontractor performance, ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to contract terms. Address and resolve subcontractor disputes and contractual issues with professionalism and fairness. Lead final project closeout activities, ensuring all deliverables are met and client satisfaction is achieved.Oversee project warranty processes and respond to post-construction concerns.Champion a culture of safety by enforcing comprehensive safety plans and attending all required trainings.Guide the project team to exceed expectations through clear goals and continuous feedback.We're Seeking Individuals Who Have :
Strong knowledge of construction logistics, plan, and shop drawing coordination, along with scope managementProven ability to build partnerships and trust with internal / external partnersProven ability to deliver presentations and negotiate effectively with clients and subcontractors.Track record of ensuring accuracy and quality in complex project documentation.Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.Advanced understanding of contractual, financial, schedule and risk mitigation elements of construction projectsDemonstrates expertise in project estimation, budgeting, and pre-planning activitiesHighly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & Microsoft ProjectExtensive hands-on experience with Bluebeam and ProcoreQualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field preferred6+ years of industrial construction experience, showing progressive growth in or toward a project management role.OSHA 10 certification preferredPhysical & Environmental

Prolonged period sitting at a desk and working on a computerPosition involves standing and walking for extended periods of time while working at the jobsite and occasional lifting of heavy objects and sitting at computers.Employees must be able to communicate effectively in a typical construction site environment with a standard level of noise.
