The Role

The Cloud Operations organization supports the global delivery of Syniti's SaaS and hosted environments in alignment with FedRAMP High, CMMC Level 2, ITAR, Cyber Essentials Plus (UK), and SecNumCloud (France) standards. This leader will oversee a team of Principal and Senior SREs delivering infrastructure automation, observability, and operational scalability across multi-cloud and multi-region architectures. The Sr. Manager of SRE will drive the adoption of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), service mesh, and secure service-to-service identity frameworks across AWS and Azure footprints. This role is critical to achieving Syniti's NorthStar objectives of compliance, zero-touch operations, and 10x scale.

This role has been designated as a remote position allowing qualified talent throughout the listed country to be considered for the opportunity.

What You Will Do

• Lead the global SRE team in delivering resilient, cost-efficient, and highly automated runtime environments.
• Drive SRE architecture and roadmap execution across AWS, Azure, and on-prem extensions (e.g., Outposts).
• Ensure alignment with compliance goals (FedRAMP, IL4 / IL5, CMMC 2.0, Cyber Essentials+, SecNumCloud).
• Mentor SREs in developing orchestration pipelines, IaC modules, and secure API integrations.
• Partner with InfoSec, Infrastructure Engineering, and Dev teams to enforce Zero Trust patterns.
• Define and implement regional resiliency standards for global SaaS availability and continuity.
• Identify toil and lead initiatives to eliminate it through engineering solutions.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for complex incident triage and root cause analysis.
• Champion platform telemetry, customer-facing audit logs, and continuous observability improvements.
