ACCOUNT SERVICES SUPPORT :
This role will assist and support the Account Services Team in effectively meeting customer needs through careful analysis and correspondence, as well as information and transaction management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This role will interact with other division team members, internal & external customers, and vendors to :
PURCHASING & INVENTORY SUPPORT
- Research new products, request quotes and / or samples as directed.
- Coordinate and process purchase orders, ensuring highest quality at the lowest cost, delivered on time.
- Work with vendors and other team members to track details and perform timely follow-ups to ensure order and related freight is processed correctly, at the right cost, and delivered timely.
- Communicate order confirmations and estimated delivery dates timely to warehouse team for scheduling.
- Collect and track cost changes, communicating the same to team members as directed.
- Manage customer specific inventory by tracking and ensuring stock minimums are maintained in the warehouse or customer location.
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT SUPPORT
Develop and maintain positive customer relations and coordinate with various functions within the company to ensure requests are handled appropriately and timely.Process sales orders, as well as track and provide confirmations to sales team with estimated ship dates.Answer, track, and respond to inbound customer calls and email requests.Liaise between vendors and customers (internal and external) to research and resolve issues timely and effectively.Fill-in for other team members during their absence.OPERATIONS SUPPORT
Perform tracking, correspondence, and time management tasks to ensure deadlines are being met with timely updates of open items needing to be followed up.Routinely count physical inventory on or offsite; track quantity changes for customers engaged in our Vendor Managed Inventory Programs.Analyze historical data for trends and anomalies as directed.Perform other general administrative support such as filing, copying / scanning, records maintenance, typing, word processing, spreadsheets, data collection and ad hoc analysis.SKILLS

Spanish would be a plus as wellProficient in MS 365 Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Planner)Packaging or distribution industry experience beneficial.EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
High School diploma, or GED required. College degree preferred or equivalent experience.Minimum 1-2 years of applicable purchasing or customer service experience requiredSome familiarity with similar packaging products within a distribution or manufacturing environment preferred.
